What does Hitechled offer that simple importers or distributors of LED displays do not?
The key difference is our business model: Hitechled is not a trading intermediary but a direct manufacturer with a controlled supply chain. Since 1991 we have combined Italian design and engineering (carried out entirely at our headquarters in Treviso) with the production of LED components, thanks to our majority stake in a specialised manufacturing plant in China (HTLink Co. Ltd.). Controlling every stage of production directly allows us to guarantee consistently high quality standards over time and products certified to work even in the harshest environmental conditions.
Which of your product lines are entirely Made in Italy, i.e. manufactured in Italy?
At our Treviso plant we design, develop and assemble four main lines of Made in Italy solutions:
- Fuel Price Displays: high-efficiency numeric LED displays with maximum visibility for totems and service areas. Our price displays are installed at most service stations in Italy and are widely used throughout Europe.
- LED Walls and Full Color Displays: LED systems and screens made of latest-generation modular cabinets (such as the DiLES and DiLEM series), ideal for digital signage, DOOH and architectural or industrial applications of any size.
- LED Luminaires: high-efficiency lighting fixtures (recessed, pole-mounted or surface-mounted) specifically designed to last and to provide uniform, safe lighting for service stations, urban streets and commercial areas.
- LED Clocks: large-format LED date and time displays for outdoor use (available in single-sided and double-sided versions). They show key information such as time, date, temperature and relative humidity. Absolute accuracy is ensured by automatic correction via integrated GPS, while structural strength comes from a welded, oven-painted aluminium housing, internal FR4 fibreglass front panels for protection from sunlight and electronic boards with industrial-grade components.
As for the platform for scheduling multimedia content, do I need to install dedicated programs on my computer to program and manage the screens?
Absolutely not. All our new-generation LED displays use our proprietary Cloud management platform, designed and constantly updated by our in-house research and development division. To change a schedule, upload images or videos, set the brightness or configure advertising spots, all you need is a standard Internet connection and a web browser on a PC, Mac or tablet, without installing any software on your device.
What advanced features does the platform offer for managing screen networks?
Our platform is not just playback software but a tool for structured management of visual communication. It makes it extremely easy to manage a single LED display or an entire network of devices spread across different geographical areas or stores. Its main functions include:
- Advanced time-based scheduling of multimedia content (videos, images, text).
- Smart management of screen groups ("Scenarios") with different resolutions and sizes, ideal for coordinated advertising campaigns.
- Automatic geolocated weather updates and display of times and dates in various formats.
- Remote brightness adjustment and colour temperature setting for perfect white light.
- The option to upgrade to Advanced Administrator to customise the interface and graphics of the Cloud software with your own logo and brand identity.
How is maintenance of outdoor LED displays handled? Does the whole structure have to be dismantled in case of a fault?
No, thanks to smart mechanical design. The products in our main series (such as DiLES and DiLEM) feature a fully front-access maintenance system. Using a special tool supplied with the product, a single LED module can be removed and replaced from the front in just a few seconds. This allows targeted, extremely fast interventions without dismantling the supporting structure or accessing the back of the screen.
How do you make sure that large LED screens made of several modules are perfectly aligned and last over time?
Our cabinets feature an exclusive adjustable levelling system, calibrated at the factory during testing. This system allows millimetre-precise adjustment for perfect, seamless visual alignment. In addition, the mechanical adjustment keeps a correct structural gap (GAP) between the lower and upper cabinet, preventing the total weight of the structure from bearing on the lower LED modules. This technical solution eliminates the risk of mechanical stress on the components, preserving their integrity and considerably extending the service life of the screen.
Do your outdoor screens need additional housings or covers for protection against rain?
No. The exclusive industrial design of our DiLES cabinets allows exposed installation without the need for additional housings or protection. The cabinets are made of laser-cut, galvanised sheet metal, oven-painted with highly resistant epoxy powder coatings. This exceptionally robust construction guarantees complete protection and full resistance to rain, humidity, sun and the most aggressive weather conditions.
Can your price displays for service stations interface with our point-of-sale (POS) system?
Certainly. Our LED displays and price displays (installed at most service stations in Italy and Europe) are designed to be connected directly to the POS system at the till. This allows automatic, real-time updating of fuel prices on totems and columns as soon as the change is made at the till, reducing manual errors to zero.
Do you offer water-resistant LED solutions for car wash areas?
Yes, we have developed dedicated LED solutions for the car wash sector. These are high-brightness displays, signs and scenic lighting systems designed specifically to withstand water and the constant humidity of washing areas. These systems are ideal for attracting customers' attention, guiding them intuitively through the washing process and clearly communicating service prices.
